Google AdSense Announces Crackdown on Invalid Clicks

Blogger Kapuk - Google AdSense proclaimed they're going to stop showing ads before invalid clicks happen. Google says this change won’t affect most publishers. Penalized AdSense publishers are going to be notified and given the chance to mend the matter.

This is Google’s explanation:
“This year, we’re enhancing our defenses even a lot of by rising the systems that determine probably invalid traffic or high risk activities before ads square measure served.
These defenses permit United States to limit ad serving pro re nata to any defend our advertisers and users…”

What is AdSense Invalid Traffic?
Invalid traffic covers dishonorable clicks and impressions further as accidental clicks.

This is how Google defines invalid traffic:
“Clicks or impressions generated by publishers clicking their own live ads

Repeated ad clicks or impressions generated by one or a lot of users

Publishers encouraging clicks on their ads (examples could include: any language encouraging users to click on ads, ad implementations that may cause a high volume of accidental clicks, etc.)

Automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots, or other deceptive software.”

An example of associate degree accidental click is once an advertisement is placed below a drop menu.
Navigational elements can cause accidental clicks.
Careful AdSense ad placement can facilitate minimize accidental clicks.

Another example of accidental clicks is specifying ad colours and fonts during a manner that confuses users into thinking the ad could be a a part of the content or navigation.

An example of content blending is a list of links to useful resources that are styled to resemble AdSense ads, with AdSense ads blended into those links.
Fraudulent AdSense Traffic
Google additionally mentions dishonorable traffic within the kind of “Automated clicking tools or traffic sources.” That kind of software is called a Clickbot.

Clickbot traffic is a purely fraudulent activity. Publishers should be wary of any service that promises instant traffic because that could be clickbot traffic.
The higher than samples of dishonorable traffic that Google denote is supposed as associate degree example and don’t represent the various sorts of dishonorable traffic.

For example, Google doesn’t mention click-rings although there is a Google support page about this where it’s called Traffic Exchange.

Click-rings (or traffic exchanges) square measure services that use real individuals clicking on ads.
Some of the click-rings include publishers clicking on every other’s ads.
Some click-rings use real people.
Those kinds of services result in fraudulent ad clicks and impressions and should be avoided.
Google encompasses a developer page that advises publishers to closely monitor traffic generated from any paid traffic sources so as to avoid falling victim to invalid traffic.

This is what Google’s support page says:
“…some of those services really send artificial traffic to websites, despite their appearance.
…these services typically generate clicks and impressions victimisation click bots, or by providing users incentives to visit sites or click on ads.

For this reason, we have a tendency to powerfully urge you to use caution once partnering with third-party traffic services.”

AdSense Update Will Not Affect Most Publishers
Google’s announcement explicit that the amendment won't have an effect on most publishers.
Publishers that square measure affected can receive notifications in their AdSense control board Policy Center.

This is how Google AdSense explains it:
“While most publishers won't notice any changes to their ad traffic, we are working on improving the experience for those that may be impacted, by providing more transparency around
these actions.
Publishers on AdSense and AdMob that square measure affected can before long be notified of those ad traffic restrictions directly in their Policy Center.”

What Google’s AdSense Announcement Means:
AdSense enforcement update will not affect most publishers
Affected publishers can have their ads stopped from showing

Affected publishers can receive a notice and be able to fix the matter

NEW RULES OF ADSENSE YOUTUBE & SMALL YOUTUBER CAREER

Blogger Kapuk - YouTube announced that it will create a new rule regarding YouTube Partner Program (YPP), a monetizable channel (AdSense) must have a total of 4,000 watch time in the last 12 months and 1,000 subscribers before they can monetize the videos on the channel.

The previously applied rule of total 10,000 views is less effective in filtering out naughty re-uploaders and those who steal content to get views and money from AdSense is a good goal but unfortunately this will kill the small channels and YouTubers that are still below, especially those who just want to start making YouTube channels and work will be more difficult to survive in this platform.
NEW RULES OF ADSENSE YOUTUBE & SMALL CAREER YOUTUBER
NEW RULES OF ADSENSE YOUTUBE & SMALL CAREER YOUTUBER
So for those of you who do not have 4,000 watches in the last year and 1,000 subscribers (both watch and subs numbers are required) will not be able to join YPP or monetize your video with AdSense, if it meets the requirements then our channel will be reviewed to consider whether it is eligible to serve ads and meet the guidelines/quality that YouTube wants.

For those of you who have joined YPP or accepted the AdSense but do not meet the above requirements, then given time for a month until 20 February 2018 to meet the expected criteria, if we pass the terms (watch time & subscriber) then our channel can be re-dimonetize as usual (without the need to apply for review again), but for those who fail to reach the qualification will be removed from YPP and the monetization tool (AdSense) will be lost from the channel so we have to work again to meet the criteria and apply again to review.

With regards to the latest YouTube Adsense rules, you can see more here: The new YouTube Partner Program rules

How are you still interested in becoming a youtuber? It's a career on YouTube is bothered easy, sometimes there is a virgin video can viral everywhere, otherwise, the video made with difficulty and high dedication did not get views and exposure at all.

This new rule is not going to affect a lot of channels that are large or medium, but the impact will be felt for those who are still under the alias of the small youtuber who still have not passed the above selection requirements, worse things like this can lower the intention for the starter / the new youtuber wants a career through a YouTube video, and unfortunately the longer it gets worse, it's possible that the YPP rules will get even harder, with more people joining YouTube than tighter selection is needed, besides reuploaders and content thieves will still hang around using the clickbait capital and tempting thumbnails to get views and subscribers.

Some of my predictions about this new YPP / YouTube AdSense rule:
  • Buying and selling services subscriber will be increasingly flooded with orders.
  • The creators or small YouTubers will be threatened with extinction (some will stop and some may still survive).
  • Fewer people will start youtube from scratch (pioneering a career on YouTube).
  • Difficult content is made less likely to find, may still exist but sooner or later it will become insignificant due to the flood of tidbits, TV content, drama/controversy and re-uploaded.
  • Long video content will be more popular especially vlog and gaming channels.

It's a bit sad to see the condition of YouTube now especially in Indonesia, popular content and trending mostly garbage content, just TV shows, controversy, drama setting, reupload results, and reaction (reaction video from other people's content).

The more here people will be lazy to make the content difficult, so of course they are original creators so lazy to make sketches ribet-ribet, mikirin script, have to shoot long, the editing process, need the actor/cast, watch time it tends to short, the end is less popular with the same capital reuploader nyolong same people videos ngevlog only, eating, challenge, Q & A, playing games, channel kepo capital stalking sosmed people, channel number (10 list bla.bla.bla) capital take outside video, and reaction video.

We can not completely blame YouTube for what's really happening to YouTube is also largely influenced by its audience, if the audience prefers news videos and controversies then the creators will also try to attract their attention by making content related to the current hot issue , if they like to watch TV show then do not be surprised many creators / youtuber whores make titles containing TV shows so that sprayed views even though the genre/category is totally unrelated, even youtuber that is big and popular just likes to make content clickbait and miss leading .

Unfortunately, many of the YouTubers I used to watch now are no longer active and stopped completely from YouTube, and more sadly again the creators who used to make video intentions through sketches and editing are now changing direction so YouTubers numbers that like to make 10 strange blah incident. blah where the content is just taking the videos out and give comments that are not important, creativity is dead, content is dead, it seems the creative content will be more difficult to grow here, so do not be surprised a few years ahead YouTube will be like Facebook that the person -the provocative people commenting and singing, the stolen and reuploaded videos will get scattered, the lower-middle creators will stop from YouTube, and the terms YouTube, YouTube, YouTube over TV are just silly jokes because now the TV is definitely on YouTube if it's mostly YouTube content TV and drama.

Channels that will remain on YouTube in my opinion are:
  1. It's clear re-uploader and youtuber have capital steal video creator will remain there anytime, as long as they can still earn money AdSense I think re-uploader will remain forever.
  2. Youtuber figures that like to make blah out-of-blue video blah blah blah lists and little comments.
  3. Daily vlog Channel, influencers who work make a vlog, eat, make challenge/prank, and Q & A.
  4. Channel gaming, because the YouTube algorithm is very supportive video vlog and gaming (watch time).
  5. Channel-channel kepo who like to jump if there is an incident, someone else's life coins, make an analysis or discussion about the issue / drama that exists, and of course they are who make gossip / drama bigger and become-so.
  6. Channel prank, parody, cover song, and of course TV media channel (whether official or reupload).
  7. Channels that are likely to stop from YouTube:

Channels that make original sketch video, where the duration is usually short and its production takes a long time (and also the cost is not small).

Animated Channel to create a 1 minute video have to work hard and take a very long time.

The bottom line on YouTube is that we should be able to upload videos as often as possible with a long duration in order to stay relevant and get more promotions either through the homepage page and featured videos / recommendations, maybe youtuber or original creators who make sketch and quality videos will still exist but the numbers will less and less often we meet because it will more often ketiban / ketutup same type of video that has been mentioned above.

Indeed, in the end, the channels and small youtuber usually always become the main victims of changes in rules / policies that exist, not to mention the problem demonetize and others.

For those of you who want a career on YouTube do not be discouraged and despair, I advise not to rely solely on your career on YouTube because the name of the platform people can change at any time, keep looking for work or income from other sources, the youtuber is still big endorse, merchandising, and make money elsewhere, so do not expect 100% of YouTube, take advantage of the YouTube platform you can and look for opportunities / opportunities that are as maximized as possible.

Finally, for the creators and the small youtuber, good luck with your life

4 IMPORTANT CHANGES ON YOUTUBE ALGORITHM & MONETIZATION SYSTEM

Blogger Kapuk - Lately the YouTubers were startled by the emergence of a de-monetization system on their videos. So some of the videos that they upload are de-monetized so that the content will not show ads and obviously the video will not make any money at all.

Actually, this is nothing new, YouTube's algorithm and monetization system have changed since the year 2012, it can be said that 2012 is the year where YouTube changed everything from views calculation, channel promotion, distribution subscriber and including video monetization.

The purpose of this algorithm change is to combat fraudulent users such as clickbait titles, misleading thumbnails, content theft (copies), and such. But in any case there is no perfect system/algorithm, unfortunately, there are also honest and clean YouTubers that are negatively affected.

Let's discuss them one by one.

1. Calculation of views

Views are no longer counted by clicks, but after the user watches the video for at least 30 seconds or half of the video duration. Logically, if someone clicks on a video title/thumbnail and finds content that does not match their expectations (misleading) then they will go away (leave away) the video in real time.

Therefore there is also a small preview display (mini preview) that appears if you mouse over a certain cue and minute in a video.

This system works quite effectively because it is very helpful in combating clickbait and other misleading content, besides the user to save a lot of time because it can immediately know/guess through mini preview whether the content is worth watching (worth it) or not.

2. Channel promotion

If you go to Youtube.com homepage page then you will be treated to videos from various channels that exist, usually, we call as recommended channel/videos. Videos or channels that YouTube promotes and recommended more often will get more views, more subscribers, the more viral and more popular.

What makes a video/channel more often get a promotion (free promotion) from YouTube?

There are 2 things why YouTube recommends videos to you first because of engagement and second because of watch time. If you frequently watch youtube X (especially if often likes and comments) then YouTube will show X videos more often in the recommended videos section, obviously because each of your activities on YouTube will always be analyzed (cookies), essentially YouTube is always trying to provide content that according to the most interesting and relevant for you (engagement).
4 IMPORTANT CHANGES ON YOUTUBE ALGORITHM & MONETIZATION SYSTEM
4 IMPORTANT CHANGES ON YOUTUBE ALGORITHM & MONETIZATION SYSTEM

youtube engagement factor Next time is watch time. The more "number of visits" on a video/channel the more likely it is that YouTube promotes it for free. Why? Because now is the era of engagement, where how long (retention) people watch becomes the most important factor in determining quality.

Although you do not have many views, you can still rank well on searches including promotions if you have a good user retention time. Up to now "watch time" is still the most important key to success on YouTube.

But behind it all, there are some errors/gaps in the system.

Content that often uses clickbait / misleading thumbnails can still get promotions from YouTube if its viewers still spend a long time (watch time) to watch the video. We often see adult videos or controversy recommended not because the content is good but because there are so many people watching that the number of visits is very high and eventually get promoted.

We know a lot of nasty people on the internet, because this is vulgar video/adult videos are very easy to get promotion, yet in the end the quality/content is not so important because that is much more important "in the eyes of the algorithm" is whether the video gets a lot of watch time or not . The YouTube system itself is not perfect, they use bots that certainly can not judge the quality of human beings, in the eyes of "robots" of videos whose watch more times are considered more qualified and worthy of promotion.

Because of this we also often see the video daily vlog and gaming appear in the home / recommended channel, because vlog/gaming video format is a long duration and more easily produced so that the quantity of video produced more than the video sketch/animation and so on, (vloggers & gamers) are more likely to get a lot of watch time and promotions from the YouTube system.
One of the negative impacts of this watch time is youtube-youtube that dedicates quality like sketching/animation wherein they will spend a lot of time just for short videos it is getting harder to get free promotion from YouTube (because it watches fewer time pads).

Of course, short-quality video quality can still get promotions but must be backed up with a number of views more than usual. Ironically those who provide real quality (making videos more difficult to produce) are rarely promoted because of this watch time factor, perhaps that's why we often see youtube-youtube create a second channel (additional) whose contents are behind the scene from the main channel including vlog / daily activities of the youtube content maker.

3. Distribution of subscriber

facebook and youtube equations. The number of uploaded videos and the number of users who subscribe to various channels makes the algorithm work harder to display the most interesting and relevant videos for you.

Getting views on YouTube is getting harder every day because every time there's always new videos uploaded, new youtube content maker pops up, and automatically makes users/subscribers have more choices.

Just like the distribution of news feeds on Facebook, if it is too much content then the algorithm will eliminate things that are considered unimportant and more often show what they consider most interesting to you (engagement).

On Facebook, if your friends post something (status/photo / etc) and you never respond anything at all then over time your friend will disappear from the news feed. The same goes for YouTube, let's say "friends" on Facebook as "subscribers" to YouTube, if you've subscribed to a channel but have not watched those channel videos again in a long time so once they upload new videos you do not will get a notification.

This makes the content maker Youtuber have to work harder to build her audience because not all subscriber that they get will get notify and watch the video they just uploaded. You must have seen it often not youtuber that has 1 million subscribers only gets about 100,000-500.000 views for each video they upload. This means that most of the subscribers have disappeared and no longer care about the channel.

Usually, this subscriber disappears because of 2 factors that are based on time-based and engagement based.

If you do not upload videos for more than 2 weeks, your channel is starting to be in danger because in that timeframe your subscriber probably will not watch any video on your channel and in their YouTube eyes (subscriber) is no longer interested in your channel so on subsequent video upload subscriber you will not get any notifications. (time-based)

Then if you frequently upload videos and subscribers you tend to ignore them (even if you get notifications), then your YouTube channel is no longer attractive to them and in subsequent uploads, your videos will be lost from subscriber notifications. (engagement based)

Just like Facebook, as a youtuber you have to treat subscriber like a friend, remember that now is the era of engagement, youtuber that can attract the attention of many people and continue to make them back again (engage) will be the winner.

4. Video monetization
Youtube Video monetization With Adsense
monetization of youtube videosThis is the latest system that was splashy (Sept 2016) YouTube de-monetization. YouTube actually has de-monetized the video based on advertiser-friendly content guidelines since 2012, but just "let it know" to creators now.

Like the previous points, this is all done by systems and algorithms, the YouTube robot will look at the metadata of a video and other factors to determine whether the video is advertiser-friendly or not.

Videos that are not advertiser-friendly as sex-content, violence, terrorism, dirty language, gambling, drugs, political controversies, and the like will be de-monetized so no ads will appear, even if they get lots of views including their promotions will not get any money/revenue at all from the video.

Of course, this is a good thing because in this way the creators of junk that often use clickbait it will not get anything and will kapok / stop by itself. So these junk creators are sometimes left alone by YouTube getting lots of views but no reverses at all.

The problem is that some creators whose content is clean sometimes also get de-monetized due to system/algorithm errors and worse are they can not do anything about it. That's why YouTube is now changing its provisions:

YouTube now notifies you if a video is de-monetized with the appearance of a notif beside the corresponding video in the form of a yellow dollar symbol.
YouTube also allows you to request a reconsideration of de-monetized videos (manual review), a goal to monetize back videos that you feel are de-monetized due to system errors. Videos that proved advertiser-friendly after being investigated can then be monetized as usual.
Many youtubers are protesting because they have just been notified right now (since it has happened since 2012), many youtubers are confused why their earnings are erratic and difficult to analyze, obviously because some of their videos may have been de-monetized but they do not know that, if not also they can not do anything at that moment. This means that for 4 years (2012-2016) the youtuber has lost the potential income is quite significant.

Although the initial goal of de-monetize is that advertisers do not lose money because their ads are attached to junk videos like clickbait and other misleading content, but the name of the system is not perfect, some pure youtubers are also affected and ultimately lose potential revenue for the last 4 years, fortunately with the current system you can do something about it.

Additional monetize info:

YouTube shares 45/55 share in revenue so ad revenue will be split by 45% for YouTube and 55% for creators / youtubers. YouTube itself does not disclose the revenue sharing officially / official, but the figure of 45% is the most accurate allegations based on existing data.

Then for videos that last longer than 10 minutes, we can put ads in the middle of the video (bonus ads) that potentially display more ads and with it earn more income as well.

In fact, even if you understand how the YouTube algorithm system works now, nobody knows exactly 100% how it works because it is unlikely they (YouTube) disclose the secret/algorithm to the public. Why? Because people will definitely cheat the existing system.

I always remember the advice that Google / YouTube is much smarter than you, do not try to outsmart the system they make. Play by the rules and take advantage of the system/algorithm as possible. Google does not hate those who know the algorithm, but they hate people who are always trying to cheat/deceive existing algorithms.

After all, even though his name is YouTube, in the end, it is still TheirTube. You use other people's platforms that at any time provisions and algorithms can change as they please (Google), so it's important for us as users to understand the purpose of the existing system and play better than others.

PEWDIEPIE SECRET CAN BE A CHANNEL NO. 1 ON YOUTUBE

Blogger Kapuk - PEWDIEPIE SECRET CAN BE A CHANNEL NO 1 ON YOUTUBE. How can a gamer who only play games in front of the computer while commenting can be a youtube no. 1 in the world? He is Felix Kjellberg, a Swedish YouTuber who managed to become an online billionaire through the PewDiePie youtube channel. The question is how can he master YouTube? What is PewDiePie's secret so it can be channel no. 1 around the world?
PEWDIEPIE SECRET CAN BE A CHANNEL NO. 1 ON YOUTUBE
PEWDIEPIE SECRET CAN BE A CHANNEL NO. 1 ON YOUTUBE
As of this writing (July 20, 2016), the PewDiePie channel has 46.5 million subscribers and has seen 12.7 billion views (and is still growing). Based on the following SocialBlade data, the PewDiePie channel gets an average of 11.6 million views and 22 thousand subscribers every day. It is estimated that every month PewDiePie gets 350 million views and 650 thousand subscribers, a fantastic number of fantastic, not surprisingly until now PewDiePie is still a YouTube channel with total views and subscriber in the world.

So how can PewDiePie achieve this all? What distinguishes it from other channels out there? Let's analyze slowly together.

First, we must first understand how the old YouTube algorithm works. If everyone is whenever & wherever can upload any video, then how can a user find quality content and according to their wishes?
One way is by judging by clicks or views. Share YouTube, videos that have many clicks/views mean have better content and will get promoted from YouTube (recommended videos) for free.

This means that popular videos will be more viral because they get more promotions from YouTube on the homepage / recommended channel. But obviously where there are a chance people will definitely find a gap to manipulate the number of views of their videos.

Some people use the name misleading title & thumbnail, the thumbnail is the usual front image we click before going into the video we will watch. In the world of blogging the concept is similar to the title clickbait and ego bait, some channels use images such as sexy women, strange photos that tend to lead sex/adult, the title of a scene/controversy, and the like.

Finally, a lot of garbage content (which is irrelevant) gets a lot of views because of this technique, regardless of the user experience yet the video has got clicks and according to the YouTube algorithm (formerly), the video is eligible for promotion.

From here YouTube is aware that there is an error in the system, so they update the algorithm with the better. If a video misleading gets clicked and does not match what is expected, then most likely the user will go directly in a few seconds. And in March 2012 YouTube overhauled its algorithm based on "engagement user".

First views are no longer counted based on clicks, but after the user watches for at least 30 seconds or half of the total duration of the video in question.

Both video/channel promotions (recommended videos) are not only judged by the number of views but how long (retention time) the user spends his or her time watching and moreover whether the video keeps the user watching other videos from the channel in question.

Factors that affect user engagement in the eyes of YouTube are:

YouTube is a business, of course, they want users to spend more time on their site because that channel that can generate a lot of TIME visit (session) will get more free promotion from YouTube.

This algorithm causes us to often see daily vlogs or gaming videos often appear on the front page of the homepage / recommended channel when you open the YouTube site.

Then what does this system have to do with PewDiePie being the no. 1 on YouTube? Here are some secrets:

1. PewDiePie Content is a video about gaming, vlogs, and other random stuff

It's possible for most of us to see daily vlogs or gamers who comment while playing games look less interesting and boring. But remember this is YouTube where the majority of viewers come from the <25 years old and most of them are gamers.

As mentioned above, the YouTube algorithm recommends channels based on the number of visits, and until now PewDiePie has about 2,890 more videos with an average duration of 5-20 minutes per video.

Unlike the comedy/entertainment sketch channel such as Nigahiga, which requires a lot of editing/photoshop, interesting storyline/script, and shutting some other players so it can only produce 1-2 videos per week and that too only produce videos with an average duration between 3-8 minutes.
Compare with vlogs (daily vlogs) and gaming channels like PewDiePie, where editing is very minimal, and all scripts/talks are just reactions and improvisation so that it can produce 1-2 videos per day, not to mention the average duration of the resulting video is quite long around 7-20 minutes and there is an advanced series (part 1,2,3) that keeps the user watching the next videos (remember how the YouTube algorithm works).

This means that the YouTube promotion algorithm is perfect for those who have content like daily vlogs and gaming where the video keeps users watching for long periods continuously.

This is why PewDiePie channels can skyrocket to 46 million subscribers. Imagine when PewDiePie had 1 million subscribers, and uploaded videos daily (7 videos/week), on average each video generated 500,000 views with a duration of 15 minutes and users watched 2 videos per session.

Within a week the PewDiePie channel gets as much watch time as:

7 * 500,000 * 2 * 15 (minutes) = 105 million minutes a week = 199.6 years a week (almost 200 years).

This YouTube channel, in turn, gets a lot of traffic time, causing YouTube to promote it again to make PewDiePie channel get more views and subscribers again.

The more views -> the more subscribers -> the more visit time -> the more YouTube promotes it -> the more views due to promotion -> and keeps going again.

This makes PewDiePie continue to gain momentum (promotions over and over again) just by uploading videos every day (simple as it is not), unlike other channels that only produce 1 video every week for 3-5 minutes duration, it is clear that growth is as far away as the sky and earth.

But that does not mean the quality factor is not important, remember the decisive factor is "the number of visits," meaning those who watch the PewDiePie video obviously love the content so they spend a lot of time watching their videos.

2. PewDiePie channel is very international

Whether intentional or not, PewDiePie has another advantage of the YouTube algorithm in reach (reach) promotions. YouTube promotes videos locally, meaning that if you live in Indonesia and upload videos from here, it's likely that your videos will be promoted more frequently in Indonesia than in other countries (albeit international content).

PewDiePie has an advantage because he started his first upload in Sweden so YouTube promoted his videos in Sweden where there was less competition, after which he moved to Italy and uploaded videos from there so his videos were also promoted locally in Italy, plus PewDiePie using English (international) that makes the content easy to understand globally, so by moving he managed to make the local country (Sweden & Italy) and several other English-speaking countries as foundation basenya fan, and since July 2013 until now PewDiePie moved to UK (UK) and settled there until now.
Indirectly PewDiePie managed to get viewers from various countries simply because he moved places and this all back again to the circle of promotion of previous YouTube algorithm, making PewDiePie channel skyrocketed in various countries so it becomes channel no. 1 on YouTube.

In conclusion, here's a brief point how PewDiePie can master the YouTube world:

PewDiePie uploaded the first video from Sweden so he can get a big enough market but the competition is still small. If you see the video early in the form of walkthrough games like Minecraft and Amnesia (Minecraft & Amnesia originating from Sweden), making it able to get enough followers/subscriber locally (Sweden).

After that, he moved to Italy to meet with Marzia (her boyfriend), and upload a video from there so that YouTube also promotes the videos locally in Italy. Plus the language he uses is English (international) causes the content is very easily spread in other English-speaking countries such as US & UK.

The biggest advantage of PewDiePie is its content in the form of gaming + vlog (Fridays with PewDiePie) as well as other random things with her lover. Content that can be produced every day and produce long videos, making this channel get a lot of "amount of time" visits from its subscribers, making YouTube give it a promotion (promotion) on the recommended channel/homepage, this makes PewDiePie get more views, subscribers, and the amount of time that more visits make their channel skyrocket in different countries at once.

In other words, PewDiePie continues to gain momentum / promotional opportunities from the YouTube system by simply uploading long videos every day, and switching countries. In 2013 he moved to England and settled there until now. And even today he still uploads videos every day, making him a YouTube channel no. 1 with the largest number of views and subscribers in the world.
That's the secret PewDiePie can be a no. 1 on YouTube. Like it or not, PewDiePie is undoubtedly one of the most famous gamers in the world, even Time magazine named it one of the 100 most influential people in the world by 2016.

In addition, Felix (PewDiePie) also likes to hold donation activities for charity with the fans (bro army). The tremendous growth of its channel due to the help of the YouTube system does not mean its content is not qualified, in fact with the help of algorithms like whatever the channel might not grow if the viewers do not spend much time in each of their videos. You could say he managed to play the YouTube algorithm system very well, yet in the end, those who win are those who can use the opportunities that exist as well as possible.

In closing please watch this latest PewDiePie video about "Youtube's secret to success" (comedy inside).

Hopefully, you are struggling in the world of youtube can also be a success like him someday.

Good luck

Blogger Kapuk Want To Make Money On Youtube? Check Out This New Policy The YouTube Partner Program. YPP or YouTube Partner Program in the Indonesian Language the YouTube Partner Program, what it was a FEW PEOPLE? YPP is the advertising services or programs that can be used by the Creator of YouTube to make money by means of monetization features enabled on their youtube channel with some certain conditions.

One of the conditions to be able to feature ads on youtube channel must have at least 1000 subscriber, but it was the old regulations. Right on 17 January 2018, I got the latest updates from YouTube Creators by email that the terms and conditions to enable monetization has changed. Message regarding the terms and conditions of theYouTube you can read below:

This way the sound notification of new monetization policy related youtube videos:

"Bloggers Kapuk,Today we announced changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). While our goals while maintaining open channels for as FEW PEOPLE as possible, we recognize we need more safeguards in place to protect the entire ecosystem of creator revenue YouTube.
What changed
Based on the new terms announced today, YouTube channels, blogger Kapuk, no longer qualify for monetization because it does not meet the threshold of a new 4,000-hour time watch in the last 12 months and 1,000 customers. As a result, you will lose access to all the tools and monetization features associated with the YouTube Partner Program on February 20, 2018 unless you exceed this limit in the next 30 days. Thus, this email serves as a 30-day notice that the term of your YouTube Partner Program is stopped.
One of YouTube's core values is to give people the chance to get money out of developing channels. Creators who have yet to reach this new threshold could continue to benefit from our Maker Academy, our Help Center, and all the resources on the site Creators grow their channel. After You reach the threshold of new channels, will be reviewed to ensure abiding by our policies and guidelines, and if so, monetization will be reactivated. The YouTube Team "
Based on the above update can we know that to be able to display ads on youtube channel, you must have at least 1000 subscriber and the time watch 4000 hours within the last 12 months.

The old terms and conditions to be able to show ads on youtube is 100 subscriber and 10000 impressions.

Certainly the existence of this update we will be more difficult to be able to use to monitize youtube, but to the creator of a video is really serious in making original video content this will have no effect. Because we know that video on youtube is easy to download and upload birthday so many videos with the same content.

With the recent announcement about the youtube partner program update is expected to let every creator of youtube or youtuber can provide or upload original videos so that the impact on advertisers can more optimally.

It is therefore very importantfor us to keep updating a quality videos and original so that in case of future updates we no longer need to be concerned with things like this.
