Blogger Kapuk - Select Where, discussing one topic or many topics in creating blogs?
This post is a continuation of my previous post about how to best choose the topic or theme of the blog.
Blog Hodgepodge
I created this post because in my post before sort is still not complete. Particularly for those who are still confused in choosing the topics of the blog.
I confused choosing a topic for a blog. The reply address the topic as you wish as good as why meaning hodgepodge?
To be honest there is nothing wrong and there is no banning if we choose to discuss many topics. But for starters I'm personally strongly do not recommend to choose many topics.
Why?
Most beginner bloggers who choose to discuss many topics are a result of confusion because they could not find topics that truly interest them.
Bloggers who like this average will not last long. Just stay waiting time until their dormant blog and not taken care of.
but if blog hodgepodge that idea of infinite his postings, in addition, the visitor also not limited
Yes, one advantage if discusses many topics or mixed is a topic and also visitor we can get unlimited.
If you do prefer to like it then go ahead. But personally, I am not so fond of this model with the blog.
Here are the reasons why I prefer creating blogs with one topic:
1. This is a matter of satisfaction
I used to never manage a blog hodgepodge, already have many visitors and also a fair income. But honestly, there is nothing I can take satisfaction from what I produce.
That's why today I decided to further invest my time to develop this blog rather than minding my own blog which is not so enjoying it.
2. the average Indonesia Blog blog hodgepodge
There are no definite data on this. But mostly I met Indonesia's blog is the blog hodgepodge. Kalo already many blogs like this is why we do not try to make something different?
A simple example of the blog pertamax7.com, blog which specifically discusses this automotive success get a lot of visitors. Although this blog using free platforms for sure my income is not a little.
Or another example of the blog bagas31.com I'm sure you know this blog because this blog indeed renowned free software download.
Another blog narutobleachlover.net which I'm sure for you lovers of anime naruto going to familiar with the blog on this one.
and much more ...
What you don't want to make a blog like them?
3. Get 100% benefit from blogging
One of the benefits that the other reason is much more than we can get if you choose to focus on a single topic blog. So it's not always a matter of money, money, and money.
Got the reader faithful, loyal visitor, trust from readers, all you won't get if you blog discusses many topics.
4. SEO becomes easier
For SEO we have much to gain if our blogs focus on one topic. Postings-postings on the blog we tend to find it easier to appear on the front page of search engines because Google knows our blog focus on the topic.
In addition, we will more easily get a backlink-natural backlink. The reason is simple, people will have more confidence in our blog so that they would gladly give you a backlink.
5. Monetization is much easier
Perhaps many who thought to monetize blogs with one topic is more difficult than a blog with topics of a variety of things. The reason is because the losing visitors to your traffic a lot.
What is true?
It is not. Thus monetize blogs with one topic much easier. Why? due to the Affairs of the monetization isn't just a matter of how much traffic the number of visitors but also the quality of the traffic.
6. Idea postings easily obtainable
Many have said if the blog we discuss only one topic we're going to the trouble of looking for the posting. That's not entirely true. Bloggers who argue like that is just another blogger who chose a topic that he himself did not particularly like.
If you pick topics that really interest you, and Ahold I sure found the idea of posting will be much easier.
One topic does not mean it must be really specific. A simple example of the topic of "technology" that topic has lots of subtopics, gadget, internet, computers, and much. So there is no reason we're going to the trouble of looking for ideas.
7. Could be a long-term asset
For topics that we discussed will not be stale swallowed up the times, then the blog we manage can be an asset for the long term. Why? because our blogs will always be in the forefront and dominate on the topic that we get into.
Unlike the blog hodgepodge that is difficult to develop because it does not have a clear direction.
8. Raising blog hodgepodge is very Difficult. ..!!
Who says blog hodgepodge can't big and famous. Just look at blog hodgepodge snapper class like the www.ehow.com they can be big and famous.
Yaps indeed true, but very difficult. If you blogging just single-handedly then manage blog hodgepodge to be big and famous like ehow.com is a very difficult thing.
The average blog hodgepodge that could be big because they are managed by a team where every topic on the blog has its own writers.
9. Give a useful something for readers
Blogging it's not solely a matter of money. No problem for money blogging, because I also like that, but it would be more fun if we got money aside can also provide something useful for others.
By only discussing one topic we can convey information or anything to the reader in more detail and depth. Rarely or never even I find blog hodgepodge that discusses a topic in detail and in depth, and even make confused.
